#517-1 Eagle Heights (Master Suite) Beautiful views, clean comfortable rooms, at a very reasonable rate all within walking distance to downtown. If that is what you are searching for, this is the perfect place to stay in beautiful Ketchikan, Alaska. The guest suites were added in the year 2000, to the home that the family has owned since the 1940s. The superior craftsmanship and architectural style, add visual interest to both the interior and exterior of the home. The windows in the front of the home frame the view of the ocean and mountains while the rear of the home is surrounded by big trees, ferns and shrubs creating a private park-like atmosphere which entices guests to linger awhile on the way to their rooms.
There are two suites to choose from, the largest is the Master Suite which is a very spacious studio apartment with a kitchenette, sitting area, table & chairs, queen bed and a full bathroom with tub and shower. The Bear Room is a smaller room with a queen bed, small refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, and a recliner. Both suites have a beautiful harbor view, private entries and they both share the enclosed balcony. The suite and the room are side by side and can be adjoined for 2 couples traveling together. This property is a close walk to downtown so no need to rent a car. This property is not suitable for children.
The Master Suite – Is a studio apartment with high ceilings and large windows which makes this studio suite feel bright and sunny even on a rainy day. Watch the ships come and go from the enclosed balcony. Queen sized bed, sofa, recliner, private bath with tub and shower combination and private entry. This suite has a kitchenette with a refrigerator, sink, range, microwave and coffee pot. Amenities include cable TV and wireless internet. All this and an absolutely beautiful view of the Ketchikan harbor.
The Bear Room is a room with a queen bed, a recliner, large private bath with a shower, TV, internet and private entry.
*The Master Suite and the Bear Room share an enclosed balcony. Binoculars are provided for guests to get a closer look at the daily activities of Ketchikan’s busy harbor.

Absolutely fantastic! The views are arguably some of the most stunning in Ketchikan!! They are PERFECT of the channel and some areas of downtown. I didn’t want to leave! The location is very convenient to town. I was surprised how quiet it was in this location- I could hear the eagles, small birds and very little traffic from town. There is a very private and peaceful lawn area just a couple steps from the front door and it feels like the Ketchikan rainforest. The room is very thoughtfully decorated and clean. The owner was very welcoming and gracious. I wish I could stay longer!! I would definitely recommend again!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 night and really enjoyed the location and the beautiful view from the sun porch. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and we were surprised with the kitchenette they have installed. You now have everything you need to make the rest of the day very relaxing because you cook your own breakfast and enjoy coffee or a drink in the evening while looking at beautiful Ketchikan.
The views here are amazing. It was nice to sit and watch the boats travel the narrows and to see the eagles soaring. The place is very quite and has everything I needed for my stay in Ketchikan. The owners are very nice and helpful if you are to need anything. I will be a return customer and would recommend this place to anyone.
Staying with Tom was great! The space is perfect for a solo traveler or two and is equipped with a kitchenette and basic cooking supplies. The view from the windows is incredible—we watched the bald eagles soaring every day that we were there. The rental is also very conveniently located a quick 15 or so minute walk to downtown. I really appreciate the owner’s warm welcome attitude. They were both awesome, very attentive and friendly. As to the room, the most clean place I’ve ever stayed. The amenities are excellent and the location is within the walking distance to the downtown and grocery store. The entrance looks to a wooded view, the front windows look to a beautiful view. Overall experience is EXCELLENT!
