#601 Bayview Cottage – Located in the center of downtown right across the street from the downtown docks. The view from the living room and bedroom is the city harbor. No need to rent a car because everything is close walking distance. There are restaurants, cafés, shops, art galleries, museum and tours are all in walking distance. If you would like to venture out of the city, there is a bus stop close by. If you would like to go charter fishing the boats are docked within walking distance.
The cottage is perched on the hillside up a city stair street. This is a two story cottage with the living room, bathroom and kitchen on the first floor and the loft style bedroom is on the upper floor. There is a one queen size bed, two twin beds and there is a fold out sofa in the living room. One of the nicest features of the house is the wonderful, private deck overlooking the city’s boat harbor.
The kitchen is well equipped for a long or short stay and there is a washer and dryer. There are stairs up to the house and parking is along the city street. Children are welcome and stay for free!!

I grew up in Ketchikan, and I always check to see if The Millers’ place is available every time I come back home. The timing worked out and this past week was my first time being able to stay here.. I have to say it was beyond all my expectations! The hosts are amazing, the apartment is spacious and has beautiful mid-century furniture and built-in shelving throughout and the location is excellent if you need to stay in the West End of town. I also appreciated the instruction for the laundry; while that may sound silly, it’s very important if you’re not familiar with hard vs soft water! In addition, most of the incredible artwork represents local scenery or experience and has been done by one of the owners! This will always be my home away from home and the first place I check for availability when I’m coming to town.
Thank you for leaving a review. We appreciated it.
Great West End location; beautifully maintained mid-mod gem; ample storage and thoughtfully appointed. Kind, entertaining and knowledgeable hosts were the cherry on top. I was born and raised in Ketchikan and the Miller’s Blueberry Hill felt very much like returning home.
