#551-1 Lich Coastal Watch Station (Halibut Suite) This is one of our nicest listed vacation properties and one of the most beautiful waterfront homes in Ketchikan. The house is situated along the rocky shore, tucked away among the Cedar, Hemlock and Spruce trees only a short distance to Knudson Cove Marina or Clover Pass Resort and just steps away from some of the best fishing in the world!
The decks hang out over the water at high tide and pretty flower pots are sprinkled along the walkways. This is a cozy and relaxing home to come back to after a day of fishing. Choose to stay in one of the two private suites; the Halibut Suite or the Salmon Suite. The Halibut Suite has a queen bed, private bath, and a deck with a beautiful ocean view.
The Halibut Suite is an open design studio apartment. Your view is open to the ocean. You can enjoy watching as the boats pass, the fish jump and even whale watch! The suite is completely private with a private entry and deck with a barbecue. It has a small kitchenette with 2 burner cooktop, microwave, small refrigerator, coffee pot and a sink. There is a queen bed, sofa and table and chairs. The bathroom in this suite is beautifully tiled and has an extra large walk-in shower. Amenities include Wireless Internet and cable with a flat screen TV. The waterside of the suite is filled with windows and has a beautiful ocean view.

Joyce and Wayne are fantastic which only added to the beauty of our surroundings. This is the second time we have stayed in the Halibut Suite and will do so again.
Upon our arrival at the Coastal Watch Station we we met by Joyce who is an absolute Angel. She took us to the Halibut suite and i couldn’t take the smile off my wifes face. WOW……………The room was one of the cleanest i have ever seen , and i travel the world. The View was out of this world. We we visited by Whales, Sea Lions, and a family of Otters that was really something we did not ever expect to see., all just below our deck. Wayne was great, bringing bait down to my wife as we fished off the point there. I have never felt so comfortable, never been with such friendly accommodating hosts. Oh yeah were are coming back………….. All I can say is thank you Mary at Alaska Travelers for making this happen for us. Thank you Joyce and Wayne your kindness, your home is what we really needed………..
