This waterfront property has a private boat dock where you can dock your rental boat. The view is amazing. The best part of your vacation will be sitting in front of the window or relaxing on the deck watching the sea life and the ever changing activity of this beautiful waterway on the Tongass Narrows. Some of the activity you will see are float planes, boats, ships and whales.Â
This is a duplex with 2 separate rental units. Choose the larger unit has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. This property is located 8 miles north of town and only about 6 miles to Knudson Cove Marina or Clover Pass Resort.
The dock has a 115 ft catwalk with a 75 ft ramp and a 80 ft main boat dock. The dock is equipped with fresh water with future plans of electricity. Dock space is available for a one-time fee of $250.
The home has a very impressive, well equipped kitchen with high-end appliances. There will be an extra freezer perfect for the serious fisherman! Every small appliance that you can imagine will be found in the kitchen including an Insta-Pot, rice cooker, air fryer, toaster, mixer and more. The dining room table will seat 6 people.
In addition, the outside the house will be just as cozy as the inside with a large covered deck that faces the ocean and plenty of seating and a large gas barbecue. Pretty flower pots will be placed all around the deck. From the deck you can step out onto the grassy, landscaped yard sprinkled with more flowers and shrub. Guest can wander down to the fire pit near the water or out onto the dock.
There is also a smaller unit with one bedroom with one bathroom in the other side of the duplex that can be rented as well.
This property is completely non-smoking. No smoking is allowed in or on the property.

We stayed at the Dockside suite and also rented the salmon suite for 9 nights. Never have we ever stayed at a place that makes you feel so very welcome. There were products for the washing machine, dish washer, and plenty of supplies for the bathrooms. We wanted for nothing. The owners have left no detail unattended!
There is room enough to spread out and feel completely in your own place, or there are plenty of gathering places for a large group. We had 16 people for dinner often and it was lovely. 7 of us stayed here and we each had our own quarters Plenty of bathrooms and beds. The linens are amazing and plentiful.
We had a rental boat and caught a ton of fish. The dock for the boat is magnificent. We did crabbing every day and the owner set up a cooker outside that we used. It boiled water quickly and we sat around the fire pit and luxuriated it the delicate flavor of fresh crab.
We barbequed and smoked fish in the yard. Truly, the grandchildren thought this was the best trip ever; and this property added immensely to that rating! We are thinking of returning to this house. Thank you for the fabulous hospitality it is unparalleled Would give you a 10 rating if we could

We just stayed at this location this week. It was wonderful. If we forgot anything, they had already thought of providing this. What a great experience. My family loved it. We will try to book this every time we head there.
When we stayed at the Dockside Salmon suite over Christmas we were so surprised that it was decorated for the holidays for us! Our whole family was in Ketchikan visiting. We liked this cozy home right next to the water. The owner was prompt with the road clearing after snows, although we didn’t use the fire pit because of the weather, it would be fun to come back in the summer for this!! Everything was clean, and as described.
Such a wonderful property. Very nice home, well appointed, and a beautiful back yard. The gardens were beautiful. We used the fire pit EVERY.SIGLE.NIGHT!! It was stocked with plenty of seasoned wood…just fantastic! We also used the sea-kayaks every day; a very nice & unexpected perk of this property!! Plenty of board games in the house; we even bought dominoes to play Mexican Train and left them there for future families to enjoy. Much closer to town than it appears on a map. We would absolutely stay there again!!
