#655 Refuge Cottage This wonderful little cabin is located on the waterfront about 8 miles north of Ketchikan. On a high tide the water flows under the cabin, it is as close as you can get to the ocean. The beautiful view of the open ocean and a small boat harbor in Refuge Cove is one of the nicest views on the island. The cabin sets back away from the road nestled among large cedar and hemlock trees. Part of the charm of the cabin is the natural wooded landscape as you walk up to the front door. My first thought when I walked through the door was the amazing view and the cozy simplicity of the little cabin.
It has a well equipped kitchen and comfortable living room furnishings. The main bedroom has a queen size bed, TV and a beautiful view. There is also a TV in the living room. The second bedroom has a full size bed. This bathroom has a tub /shower combination. There is a washer and dryer inside the cabin. It has good off-street parking for one vehicle.
